Mirrors don’t lie, but how often do you truly see yourself?

Mirrors don’t lie, but how often do you truly see yourself?

Sure, you might say, “Every day—while getting ready, in the bathroom, or passing by a reflective surface at work.”

But I’m not talking about your appearance.

I’m talking about reflecting on your inner self.

When was the last time you truly looked within?

For most of us, it’s rare—something we do only after a conflict, or maybe when inspired by a motivational post, speech, or movie.

Standing in front of a mirror won’t show you your inner self. But closing your eyes and reflecting on your actions will.

Your mind is the mirror that helps you grow, positively and genuinely.

———-

Why do this?

Because reflecting on your day, your actions, and your behavior gives you the chance to improve.

It’s about becoming a better human being, exploring your internal world.

———-

Science backs this up—self-reflection is powerful.

———-
How to do it?

There’s no fixed method.

Anytime, anywhere, close your eyes and dive into your thoughts.

Talk to yourself.

You might even hear a melody, a tone without words, that soothes you and helps you go deeper.

Find a peaceful place to meditate; it will energize your mind and body and help you reflect on a deeper level.

———-

Remember, our purpose isn’t just to act but to think about our actions.

Reflect on what you’ve done, how you did it, and whether it’s what you’d want to do next time—or if there’s room for improvement.
